Welcome!
If you're looking for a little on the history of Trefeglwys, Montgomeryshire then I'm trying to transcribe various sources.
The website is currently undergoing some changes - including transferring website content from 2005-present. Please keep checking back for new content.
Update: The transcriptions for the 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 censuses have finally been transferred. These transcriptions were completed some years ago, hence the format and I need to revisit some of the gaps.
District 16 of the 1911 census has also been transcribed. There are four more 1911 districts to do.
I am continuing to transcribe pre 1858 Trefeglwys wills. Click onto Probate above, most can be found under Ecclesiastical Court. I've extracted relevant links to the PCC wills held at the National Archives.

Do you have a photo of Esgairgoch farm where my ancestor, Quaker Thomas Goodwin lived prior to immigration to the colonies in abt. 1708? His son was John Goodwin (1681-1763), who remained at Esgairgoch in Trefeglwys, and rendered invaluable service to the Quaker cause in Wales. I published a 3-volume family history book on Thomas Goodwin in 2011. I would love to see the photo if you have one. Thank you. A.J.
