1  In the Name of God Amen. I David Williams
2  of Penygraig in the parish of Trefeglwys and County of
3  Montgomery Farmer being sick in body but of sound and
4  disposed mind memory and understanding praised be God
5  for the same do make this my last Will and Testament in
6  manner and form following that is to say, First of order my
7  Executor hereafter named to pay all my Debts Funeral
8  Expenses and the proveing of this my last Will and Testament.
9  Likewise I give and bequeath unto my son David Williams
10 the sum of Five pounds to be paid unto him by my Executor
11 at the expiration of twelve months after my decease –
12 I likewise give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Wife of
13 Thomas Evans the sum on Ten pounds together with a feathered Bed
14 Bedsteads Bed clothes and Hangings to be paid unto her at the
15 expiration of twelve months after my decease. I likewise give
16 and bequeath unto my Daughter in law Elizabeth Wife of my son
17 Thomas Williams (deceased) the sum of One Shilling to be paid
18 unto her at the expiration of twelve months after my decease
19 by my Executors, I likewise give and dispose the sum of Three
20 pounds towards furnishing with Tomb stones &c the sepulchres
21 of my selfe and Wife and John and Elizabeth my son and Daughter
22 in the Churchyard of Trefeglwys, and to be paid by my Executors
23 at the expiration of twelve months after my decease, I likewise
24 give and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my Money
25 Bills Bonds Goods Chattels Farming Stock and Credits and Whatsoever
26 besides which belong or appertain to me by claim or title unto my sons
27 Matthew Williams and Evan Williams Which I now appoint constitute
28 and ordain to be my Joint Executors of this my last Will and
29 Testament with the exception that Evan Williams my son is to have my
30 Watch and Five pounds of Money more than Matthew his Brother,
31 and Matthew Williams my son is to have my gun, And I do disannul
32 and make void all other Will or Wills made my me as heretofore and allow
33 this to be my only and last Will and Testament, In Witness to the
34 same I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Nineteenth day of February
35 One thousand Eight hundred and fifty. David Williams X by mark [wax
35 seal] Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator for his last
36 Will and Testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence
37 have subscribed our Names as Witnesses there to.  Edward Manuel …

39 On the tenth day of March in the year of our
40 Lord 1851 the within written Will was insinuated proved
41 approved and in common form of Law decreed valid
42 and administration granted to the within named
43 Executor Evan Williams on of the Executors within named he being first sworn in common
44 form of law and that the whole of the Goods
45 Chattels and cudits of the said deceased do not
46 amount in value to one hundred pounds – power being
47 userved for Matthew Williams the other Executor therein
48 named to take upon him the execution thing wherein
49 he shall lawfully demand the same
50 before me.
