1 This is the last Will and Testament of Evan Owen of
2 Llwynygog in the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Farmer I Give
3 and bequeath unto my two Sons John Owen and Edward Owen of Llwynygog aforesaid
4 All my Household Goods and Furniture, Farming Stock, Implements in Husbandry
5 and all other my Personal Estate and Effects of what nature and kind sacuer
6 excepting a small Oak Chest which I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter
7 Mary Lumley – and I desire that as soon as conveniently after my Decease
8 that they my said Sons pay and discharge all my just Debts, Funeral
9 Expenses, and the Expense of proving this my Will and that the rest residue
10 and remainder thereof I Give and bequeath the same unto them any said Sons
11 John and Edward Owen to be equally divided between them share and share
12 alike – And Lastly – I do hereby Nominate Constitute and appoint any
13 said Sons John Owen and Edward Owen Executors of this my last Will and
14 Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills and
15 Testaments made by me at any Time heretofore and Declare this to be my
16 last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to this my last
17 Will and Testament set my hand and Seal this Fourteenth day of February in the
18 Year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty One.

32 unto my said Son John Owen the Sum of Ten pounds to be paid him out of the
33 residue of my personal Estate, before the same be divided between him and my said Son
34 Edward Owen – In Witness whereof I the said Evan Owen leave to this Codicil set my
35 hand and Seal this Fourteenth day of February One Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty
