1 I John Tibbott of Graigwen in the parish of
2 Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery do make
3 this my last Will and Testament in manner
4 following that is to say First I direct that all
5 my Just debts funeral and Testamentary Expenses
6 be fully paid by my Executor hereinafter
7 named I give devise and bequeath unto my
8 Son John All and singular that Messuage
9 and Lands with the appurtenances called
10 Graigwen aforesaid and all other my
11 real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever
12 And also all my farming Stock and other
13 personal Estate and Effects whatsoever
14 To hold unto my said Son John his
15 heirs and assigns for ever subject nevertheless
16 to such debts as I shall owe at the time
17 of my decease and likewise to the several
18 Legacies hereinafter bequeathed in case my
19 personal Estate shall not be sufficient
20 to discharge the same. I give and
21 bequeath to my Son Howell the Sum of
22 One hundred pounds I give and
23 bequeath to my Son Benjamin the
24 Sum of One hundred pounds I give

25 and bequeath to my daughter Ann the
26 Sum of forty pounds I give and bequeath
27 to my daughter Margaret the Sum of
28 Sixty pounds I give and bequeath to my
29 daughter Mary Sixty punds I give and
30 bequeath to my daughter Jane the sum
31 of Sixty pounds I give and bequeath
32 to my daughter Elizabeth the Sum of
33 Sixty pounds And I do hereby charge
34 the said real Estate with the payment
35 of the foregoing legacies and that the
36 same shall be respectively paid
37 to any said Children when they shall
38 respectively attain the age of twenty pone
39 years And I do hereby direct that my said
40 son John shall maintain and provide
41 for any Said Children respectively until
42 they attain their respective ages of
43 twenty one years and that in case he
44 does so in a proper manner no
45 Interest is to be payable to them in
46 respect of such Legacies – But in case

47 my said Son John shall not educate
48 maintain and provide for my said younger
49 Children in a proper manner and
50 suitable to their condition in life then
51 I do hereby direct that Interest shall
52 be payable to them respectively in
53 respect of their said legacies until
54 the same become payable after the
55 rate of Five pounds per certain fee
57 annum. The Interest of such
58 Legacies to be paid by my said Son John
59 to my dear Wife who is to apply the
60 same towards the maintenance of my
61 said Children and who I appoint the
62 Guardian and Trustee of my said Younger
63 Children – I do appoint my Son John
64 Executor of this my Will In Witness
65 whereof I have hereunto set my
66 hand and seal this fifteenth day of July

82 On the first day of January in the year of our Lord
83 1831 the within written will was insinuate proved,
84 approved, and in common form of Law decreed valid
85 and administration granted to the within named Executor
86 John Tibbot, he being first sworn in common form
87 of Law, and that the whole the goods, Chattels, and
88 Credits of the said deceased do not amount in Value
89 to three hundred Pounds
