Court of Chancery

The Court of Chancery was a court of equity, which appealed to fairness. Amongst the functions of the Court of Chancery was dealing with inheritance disputes. The Trefeglwys cases I am aware of are:

Matthew PRICE
Bodaioch, Montgomeryshire
Price v. Lewis 1700
C6/319/90

Richard INGRAM
Trefeglwys, Montgomeryshire
Williams v. Ingram 1679
C5/96/33, C10/461/50, 482/207

If you know of any more, please get in touch so these can be included.

  1. I would be interested in obtaining details of Richard Ingram as I believe he is in my family tree. I would be grateful of any assistance.
