1 In the Name of God. Amen.

2 I Zacharias Davies of Cyffiau-cochion, in the parish of
3 Tref Eglwys, in the County of Montgomery, and Diocese of Bangor,
4 being sick of Body, but or perfect Mind, Memory, and Understanding,
5 Thanks be to God for the same Do make this my last Will and
6 Testament, in Manner and Form following; that is to say
7 First I order my Executor herein after named; to pay all my Debts,
8 and Funeral Expenses I give and bequeath unto my Son Maurice
9 Davies, the Sum of Fifteen pounds, to be paid unto him by my Executor
10 within the Space or Term of Twelve Months after my Decease
11 I likewise give and bequeath unto my Son David Davies the Sum
12 of Twenty pounds, to be paid unto him (by my Executor) when he shall
13 arrive at the Age of Twenty one years I likewise say that my
14 Executor, must and shall, give proper schooling Clothing, and Maintenance
15 for my my Sons, John and Richard, till they will be of proper age and
16 Learning to be appreaticed, and when they be so; my Executor
17 the Charges and Expenses to apprentice them both; to some proper Trade or
18 Trades, whom my Executor may think most suitable for them
19 I likewise give and bequeath unto my Three Daughters, Ann,
20 Margaret, and Mary, each the Sum of Twenty pounds; the same to
21 be paid unto them; when they arrive successively at the age of Twenty one
22 years I likewise give and bequeath unto my said Daughters, Ann,
23 Margaret, and Mary, each a Bedstead, Feather bed, and Bed Clothes,
24 the said Bedstead Father-bed, and Bed-Clothes, the same to be possessed by
25 my said Daughters, within the space or Term of six Months after my Decease

26 I likewise give and bequeath unto Jane my beloved Wife, the Sum
27 of Eight pounds, to be paid peaceably and quietly unto her by my Executor
28 yearly and every year, by two half yearly payments, during the Term
29 of her natural Life The said Eight pounds which I have mentioned
30 hereof; are but; and only the Sum of that much, which was made and
31 settled upon, or for my said Wife in or Marriage Deed

32 I likewise give and bequeath unto my said Wife Jane; my best Bedstead,
33 together with my best Feather bed, with Blankets, and other proper appertenances
34 suitable to the Same; the said Bed and [crossed out: and] its appertenances (as aforesaid)
35 is and are to be possessed by her immediately after my Decease

36 All the Rest, and Remainder of my Goods, Chattels and Credits,
37 Money, Bills and Bonds, Houses, Buildings, Land or Lands,
38 Hereditaments; property or properties, moveable and unmoveable, personal
39 and real, and whatsoever belong or belongs to me; by Right, Claim or
40 Title, I give, bequeath and demise, unto my Son Zacharias Davies, when
41 I constitute appoint and ordain, sole Executor of this my last will and
42 Testament, the whoe which I have give bequeathed and dimised Unto
43 him, is [crossed out: and] are to be his own, and his Heir’s forever
44 And I do hereby disannul, and make void all other wills made by me
45 as heretofore and confess and allow this to be my last Will and
46 Testament – In Witness to the same I have hereunto set my Hand
47 and Seal this First Day of February, in the year of our Lord, One
48 Thousand, Eight Hundred and Ten

57 On the seventeenth Day of April in the year of our
58 Lord 1813, the within written will was insinuated, proved,
59 approved, and in common form of Law decreed valid, and
60 administration granted to the within named Executor Zacharias
61 Davies, he being first sworn in common form of Law, and that
62 the value of Goods, Chattels, and credits of the said deceased,
63 do not amount in value to Two hundred Pounds
