1 This is the Last Will and Testament of me Evan
2 Edwards of Blacnyglynne in the Parish of Trefeglwys
3 in the County of Montgomery Farmer being of Sound
4 mind memory but duly mindful of my mortality
5 do make this my last will and testament at the
6 same time revoking all former wills made by me declaring
7 this to be my Last Will and Testament
8 I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Jane
9 the sum of Sixty Pounds – to my Son Richard the Sum of
10 Sixty Pounds – The same to be Paid unto both of them where
11 they arrive to the age of twenty one years – to my
12 Mother Jane Edwards a Bedstead, Feather Bed, Bolster
13 Bed Clothes and the Sum of Six Pounds a year during
14 the remainder of her life – and also the Expense of her
15 Funeral – and Lastly after all my Just Debts are Paid
16 I Give Devise and bequeath, the whole Rest and
17 Residue of my Property Stock in trade and Every
18 thing I am Possessed of whatsoever or wheresoever to my
19 Loving Wife Mary Edwards – at the same time I do
20 nominate Constitute and appoint my said Loving
21 Wife Mary Edwards to be Sole Executrix of this my
22 Last Will and Testament to which I have hereunto
23 set my hand this Ninth day of January in the year
24 of our Lord – one thousand Eight hundred and fifty two

37 Lord 1852, the within written Will was insinnated
38 proved, approved and in common form of
39 law decreed valid, and Administration granted
40 to the within named Executrix Mary Edwards,
41 She being first sworn in common form of
42 law, and that the whole of the goods, chattels,
43 and credits of the said deceased do not
44 amount in value to £200
