1 In the Name of God Amen, I Edward Jones of Brwyn in
2 the Parish of Trefeglwys County of Montgomery being sick in
3 Body but of Perfect Sound mind memory and understanding
4 do (to avoid all controvirses and disp… after my demise)
5 manke and ordain publish and dulare this my Last Will and
6 Testament in manner and form following that is to say
7 First I give and Bequeath unto my Two sons Edward
8 Jones and John Jones the Hous and out Houses with the Land
9 which is belonging to me now commonly called or known
10 by the Name [insert one word:] Brwyn situte in the Parish of Trefeglwys county
11 of Montgomery to be Equal Divided between them and to
12 posess after my demse (but not on the middle of the
13 year the Land on [insert one word:] first the 15th day of March [insert three words:] after my decease the House and
14 out Houses on the 12th day of May following –
15 Seconly I give and Leave unto my Dear wife Mary
16 Jones all the Money she had from her Father and
17 no more – And Lastly as to all the rest resiude and
18 Remainder of my Personal Estate goods Cattels and
19 Chattels of what Kind or nature sower I give and
20 Bequieth the same unto my Daughter Mary Jones
21 whom I hereby appoint my sole Executrix of this my Last
22 will and Testament, I hereby revoking all former will or
23 wills by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto
24 set my hand and seal this 31st day of March One Thousand
25 Eight Hundred and Eighteen

40 proved, approved and in common form of Law
41 decreed valid and administration granted to the
42 within named Executrix Mary Jones, she being
43 first sworn in common form of Law, and that
44 the whole of the Goods Chattels and Credits of the
45 said Deceased do not amount in value to
46 one hundred Pounds
