1 This is the last Will and Testament of me John Rowland
2 of Pantyresgyr in the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County
3 of Montgomery being of sound and disposing mind memory
4 and understanding but mindfull of my mortality do make
5 Publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in
6 manner and form following that is to say First
7 I give and Bequeath unto my Eldest Son Rowland the
8 Sum of One shilling also I give and Bequeath unto
9 my second Son John the sum of one shilling
10 I give and Bequeath unto my youngest son Evan the sum
11 of one shilling. also I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter
12 Gwenn the wife of Richard Low otherwise Richard Lloyd the
13 Sum of one shilling I Give and Bequeath unto
14 my Beloved Wife Jane Rowland the sum of one Shilling
15 and that part of the Bed and all other part of the
16 Household furniture which she brought with her into
17 my Possession I Nominate ordain and appoint my
18 youngest Daugther Margaret Executrix of this my last
19 Will and Testament and as to all the rest residue and remainder
20 of my Estate both Real and Personal whatsoever and wheresoever
21 and of what nature kind or quality soover the same may be
22 subject to and after the payment of my Just Debts and Funeral
23 expenses I give and Bequeath the same unto my said youngest Daughter
24 Margaret to be at her own will and disposition
25 I hereby lastly revoke and make void all former and other Wills
26 and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made and do declare
27 this to be my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have
28 hereunto set my hand and seal this 19th Day of June in the year
29 of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight

43 proved, approved and in common form of law
44 decreed valid, and Administration granted
45 to the written named Executrix Margaret
46 Wigley, she being first sworn in com-
47 mon form of law and that the whole of
48 the goods, chattels, and credits of the said
49 deceased do not amount in value to £20

74 IN THE CONSISTORY COURT OF BANGOR,

75 Appeared personally Margaret Wigley of Pantyresgyr
76 in the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County of
77 Montgomery, sole
78 Executrix named in the last Will and Testament of John Rowland
79 late of Pantyresgyr in the Parish of Trefeglwys
80 in the said County of Montgomery and
81 Diocese of Bangor Farmer
82 deceased:
83 and made Oath that the said Deceased died on or about the 22nd day
84 March One thousand eight hundred and fifty five
85 That she hath made diligent search and due enquiry after and in respect of
86 the Personal Estate and Effects of the said Deceased, in order to ascertain the full
87 amount and value thereof. And that the whole of the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of
88 which the said Deceased died possessed within the Diocese of Bangor, (exclusive of
89 what the said Deceased may have been possessed of, or entitled to as a Trustee for any
90 other person or persons, and not beneficially, but including the leasehold Estate for
91 years of the said Deceased, whether absolute or determinable on a life or lives, and
92 without deducting any thing on account of debts due and owing from the said Deceased,)
93 are under the value of Twenty Pounds, to the
94 best of this Deponent’s knowledge, information and belief. And this Deponent
95 further saith that the said Deceased had no personal Estate and Effects at the time of
96 his decease, within any Diocese to which this Deponent need to Administer.
