1 In the Name of God Amen I
2 John Swancott of Brynderwen in the Parish of
3 Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Farmer
4 being of sound mind memory and understanding praised
7 be to God for the same Do make this my last Will
8 and Testament in manner and form following that is
9 to say I give and bequeath unto my beloved
10 Wife Elizabeth Swancott All my Stock of Horses
11 Cattle and Sheep Implements of Husbandry Household
12 Goods and Furniture Money and Securities for
13 Money and all other my personal Estate and
14 Effects of what nature or kind soever and
15 wheresoever this same shall be at the time of my
16 Death for her own sole use and benefit subject
17 nevertheless to the payment of my just Debts and
18 Funeral Expences and the Expence of proving this
19 my Will And I do hereby nominate constitute

20 … and appoint my Wife the said Elizabeth Swancott
21 sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby
22 revoking and making void all and every other Will and Wills at
23 any time heretofore by me made and do declare this to be
24 my Last will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said
25 John Swancott have hereunto set my hand and seal this
26 twenty fourth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand
27 eight hundred and twenty three

33 who at his regard and in his presence have
34 subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto

39 the above written Will was insinuate, proved, approved,
40 and in common form of Law decreed valid, and administra-
41 tion granted to the above named Executrix Elizabeth Swancott
42 she being first sworn in common form of Law and that the
43 whole of the goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased
44 do not amount in Value to one hundred Pounds
