1 In the Name of God Amen I William Owen of Cwmbiga in the parish of
2 Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Farmer being of sound mind and memory
3 and understanding but considering the uncertainty of this life Do make and publish and
4 declare this my last will and Testament and in Manner and form following that is to say
5 First I will and divert that all such Debts as I shall justly Owealth … of my
6 Decease together with the Expenses of my Funeral and the charges of proving this
7 my Will shall be fully paid and satisfied I Give and bequeath unto my loving wife
8 Jane the same of Two hundred pounds of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be
9 paid within Twelve months next after my decease I Give and bequeath unto
10 my mother Elizabeth Owen the sum of Forty pounds to be paid within twelve months
11 next after my decase I give and bequeath my three Brothers Evan Owen
12 John Owen and Thomas Owen the sum of Fifty pounds each to be paid within
13 Twelve months next after my decease I likewise Give and bequeath unto my
14 Two sisters Sarah wife of Edward Rowland and Mary wife of John Morris the
15 the sum of Fifty pounds such to be paid within twelve months next after my decease
16 I give and bequeath unto my Brother Evan Owen the sum of seven hundred pounds
17 In trust for my Infant child now unborn to be paid him or her when attaining the
18 age of Twenty one years or day of marriage with lawfull Inheret for the same
19 But In case the said child shall die before the age of Twenty one years I give and
20 bequeath the said sum of seven hundred pounds unto my three Brothers and two
21 sisters before … towards share and share alive I do and dispose the .ui.ion
22 and Custody of my unborn infant and whom born unto my said wife untill he or she shall att au.. the
23 ago of Twenty one years or day or marriage and lastly I do hereby
24 revoke and make void all former and other wills by me at any time hereafore
25 made and do publish and declare this only l..e and contain my true last will
26 and Testament and also I do make and appoint my said wife Jane
27 and my Brother Evan Owen Join Executors of this my said Will
28 In Witness whereof I the said William Owen the Testator hereto this
29 my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the Nineteeth day of
30 July in this year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seven

46 lawfully demand the same and that the whole of the goods chattels
