1 In the Name of God Amen
2 I John Lewis of Cwm in the Parish of Tref Eglwys and County
3 of Montgomery and Diocese of Bangor, Carpenter being weak of Body
4 but of sound and perfect Mind and Memory Thanks be to God for the same
5 Do make institute and ordain this my last Will and Testament in
6 after named jointly to pay all my Debts and Funeral Expenses herein
7 I give and bequeath to my two sons John and William immediately
8 after my Decease all my Tools and implements, which belong to my Trade
9 to be equally divided between.
10 I also give and bequeath unto Mary Lewis my Daughter in law Widow
11 of the late deceased Owen Lewis, the Sum of one Shilling to be paid unto her
12 by my Executrixes. I also give and bequeath unto my two Daughters
13 Mary and Bridget, whom I appoint and ordain Executrixes of this my
14 last Will and Testament, all of my Household Furniture and also the
15 Lease for my House which I now dwell in I also appoint the upper End of
16 the said House unto my eldest Daughter Mary, and the lower End unto my
17 youngest Daughter Bridget, and all the Rest of my Goods, Stock, Effects, Properties
18 or whatsoever other Right Claim or Title to be equally and fairly divided
19 among, and between, my said two Daughters Mary and Bridget
20 Lewis, whom I appoint joint Executrixes of this my last Will and
21 Testament. Signed with my Hand Sealed with my Seal, this twenty-
22 eighth Day of March and in the year of our Lord one thousand
23 eight hundred and one.

29 On the Eleventh Day of June in the year of
30 our Lord 1803. The within written Will was
31 insinuated, proved, approved, and in Common
32 form of Law decreed Valid, and administration
33 granted to the within named Executors Mary
34 Lewis and Bridget Lewis; they being first perso-
35 -nally sworn in common form of law and
36 that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits,
37 of the said deceased do not amount in
38 Value, to the sum of Twenty pounds
