1 In the name of God Amen
2 I John James of Lechwedd in the Parish of
3 Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Farmer
4 Being Weak in body buy of sound and perfect mind
5 and Memory do make and publish this my Last
6 will and Testament; In manner and form following
7 (that is to say) First I giveand bequeath unto my
8 Beloved wife Margaret James the sum of Ten Pounds
9 which is a part of my Portion unpaid by my Father
10 and Secondly and Lastly the whole of my Personal
11 Estate, Goods and Chattels of what kind or nature
12 Forever, I Give and Bequeath the same to my said
13 Beloved Wife Margaret James; whom I shall hereby appoint
14 Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament
15 Hereby Revoking all former wills by me; In witness
16 whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the
17 Fifteenth Day of January in the Twenthith first year
18 of the Reign of the Queen Victoria; and in the year of Our Lord
19 One thousand Eight Hundred and fifty seven
20 Signed John James

21 Signed, Sealed Published and
22 Declared by the above named John James
23 to be his Last will and Testament in
24 the Presence of us; who have hereunto
25 Subscribed our names as witnesses

31 Lord 1857 the within written Will was insi:
32 nuated, proved, approved and in common form
33 of law decreed valid, and Administration
34 granted to the written named Executrix Margaret
35 James, she being first sworn in common
36 form of law, and that the whole of the goods,
37 chattels, and credits of the said deceased
38 do not amount in value to £200
39 before me
