20 In the Name of God Amen the Nineteenth Day of September
21 IN the year of Our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundren and Three
22 I Charles Davies of the parish of TrefEglwys in the County of
23 montgomry Being Weak in Body but of Sound and
24 perfect Mind and memory Thanks be to the Allmighty God
25 for the same, do make this my Last Will and Testament
26 in the following Order, first I Give and Bequeath unto
27 my Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Andrew Jones The Sum of
28 one pund one shilling, allso I Give and Bequeath unto
29 Mary my Daughter the wife of Richard Bennett the Sum of
30 Twenty pounds Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter
31 Ann the wife of David Loyd the Sum of Thirty Pounds
32 also I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Catherine
33 the wife of Joseph Thomas the sum of Fifty pounds
34 also I Give and Bequeath unto Sarah my Daughter
35 the sum of one Hundred and Sixty Pounds. Also I Give
36 and Bequeath unto my Daughter Dorothy the sum
37 of One Hundred and Sixty Pounds. Also I Give and
38 Bequeath unto my Beloved wife Mary the sum of
39 forty pounds and also the use of the Dweling House
40 where we are Now Resident Together with the Garden
41 furniture I Give and bequeath to be Equally Divided
42 between my wife Mary and her Two younger Daughters
43 viz Sarah and Dorothy – All the Rest and Residue
44 of my Goods Chattels Lands Hereditaments Bills Bonds and
45 all and singular my Effects of what nature so ever they
46 be I Give and Demise unto my Son, David Davies
47 [interline] whom I apoint sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
48 revoking hereby all former Wills and Bequests by me
49 made and Confirming this to be my Last will and
50 Testament in Wittness heroff I have sett my haned
51 and Seal the day Day and year above written
