1 In the Name of God Amen. I David Davies of
2 Newhouse in the Parish of Trefeglwys and County
3 of Montgomery, Parish Clerk, being sick in body
4 but of sound and disposed mind memory and
5 understanding praised be God for the same. do make
6 this my last Will and Testament in manner and
7 Form following. First I order my Executor hereafter
8 named to pay all my debts Funeral Expenses and
9 the proveing of this my Will. likewise I give and
10 devise my House and Garden with the appurtenances
11 thereto belonging situate lying and being in the
12 Parish of Trefeglwys and County of Montgomery
13 and now in my occupation with all my real
14 Estate of every nature whatsoever unto my Nephew
15 Matthew Davies of Trefeglwys Village his heirs
16 and assigns for ever
17 I also give and bequeath unto my Nephew David Tilsley
18 of Llanidloes all my Household Furniture

19 I likewise give and bequeath all the rest residue and
20 remainder of my money Bills bonds Goods Chattels and
21 Credits and whatsoever besides which belong or
22 appertain to me by claim or Title unto the aforesaid
23 my Nephew Matthew Davies which I now appoint
24 constitute and ordain to be my sole Executor of this
25 my last Will and Testament and I do disannul

26 and make void all other Will or wills made by me
27 as heretofore and allow this to be my only and last
28 Will and Testament in Witness to the same I have
29 hereunto set my hand and seal this Eighth day of
30 April One Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty One
