1 In the name of God Amen. I John Evans of
2 Oyrley in the Parish of Trefeglwys and County of
3 Montgomery. Farmer being Sick in body but
4 of sound and disposed mind. memory and
5 understanding praised be God for the same
6 do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner
7 and form following that is to say. First I order
8 my Executor hereafter named to pay all my debts
9 Funeral Expenses and proving of this my Last
10 Will and Testament
11 likewise I give and bequeath unto my Son
12 Simon Evans the Sum of One Pound to be
13 paid unto him by my Executrix at the
14 Expiration of Twelve Months after my
15 decease. I likewise give and bequeath
16 unto my son Edward Evans the Sum of one
17 Pound to be paid unto him by my Executor
18 at the Expiration of Twelve Months after my
19 decease. I likewise give and bequeath unto
20 my Daughter Elizabeth wife of Thomas Evans
21 my Feather Bed Bed Stead Bed Clothes
22 and hangings. which I use to sleep on
23 I likewise give and bequeath unto my
24 Daughter Mary wife of Giles Mills

25 the Sum of Half a crown to be paid unot
26 her by my Executor at the Expiration of
27 Twelve Months after my decease
28 I likewise give and bequeath all the rest
29 residue and remainder of my Money. Bills
30 Bonds. Goods. Chattels. Farming Stock and
31 Credits and whatsoever besides which
32 belong or appertain to me by claim on Title
33 unto my Son – William Evans. which I now
34 appoint constitute and ordain to be my
35 sole Executor of this my last Will and
36 Testament and I do disannul and make
37 void all other Will or wills made by me as
38 heretofore and allow this to be my only and
39 last Will and Testament in Witness to the same
40 I have hereuto Set my hand and Seal this
41 Twentieth day of July one thousand Eight
42 Hundred and Thirty seven

52 On the Twenty Eighth day of October, in the year or our
53 Lord, 1845, the within written Will was insinuated,
54 proved, approved, and in common form of law decreed
55 valid, and administration granted to the within named
56 Executor, William Evans, he being first sworn in common
57 form of law, and that the whole of the goods, chattels
58 and credits of the said deceased, do not amount
59 in value to Two Hundred Pounds
