1 In the name of God Amen, I Richard Owen of
2 Griilbern in the Parish of Trefeglwys and County of
3 Montgomery Farmer being sick in body buy of sound
4 mind memory and understanding promised be God
5 In the same. do make this my last Will and
6 Testament in mannber and form following that is
7 to say First I order my Executors hereafter named
8 to pay all my debats, Funeral Expenses and proving
9 of this my last Will and Testament
10 I likewise give and bequeath unto my son Richard
11 the Sum of Five punds to be paid unto him by my
12 Executors at the Expiration of Twelve months after
13 my decease
14 I likewise give and bequeath unto my Daughter
15 Martha, wife of Valentine Ashton of Llawryglyn the
16 sum of Ten Pounds to be paid unto her by my
17 Executors at the expiration of Twelve months after
18 my decease
19 I likewise give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Humphreys
20 who now lives with me, the sum of Four Pounds
21 to be paid unto her by my Executor at the expiration
22 of Twelve Months after my decease
23 I likewise give and bequeath all the rest residue
24 and Remainder of my Money. Bills. Bonds. Goods
25 Chattels. Farming Stock and Credits and whatsoever
26 besides which belong or appertain to me by
27 claim or Title unto my son Evan and my
28 two Daughters Jane and Mary equally

29 share and share alike whom know appoint
30 constitute and ordain to be my sole executors
31 of this my last Will and Testament and I do
32 Disannul and make Void all other Will or wills
33 made by me as heretofore and allow this to be
34 my only and last Will and Testament in Witness
35 to the same I have hereunto set my hand and
36 Seal this Eighth day of January one Thousand
37 Eight Hundred and Forty

38 On the ninth day of January in the year of our Lord
39 One Thousand Eight Hundred and forty seven, the
40 within written Will was insianated, proved, approved
41 and in common form of law decreed valid, and
42 administration granted to the within named Executor
43 Evan Owen, Jane Owen, and Mary Owen, they being
44 first sworn in common form of law, and that
45 the whole of the goods, chattels, and credits of the
46 said deceased do not amount in value to
47 Three Hundred Pounds
