1 In the Name of God Amen, I Thomas Edwards of Blaenglynne
2 in the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Farmer being Sick
3 in Body yet of Sound perfect mind and memory and understanding praise
4 be given to almighty God to make and ordain this my last Will and
5 Testament in manner and form following
6 (that is to say) first I will that all my debts and funeral expenses be fully
7 paid and discharged by my Executors herein after named and at Touching
8 such wordly Goods and Chattels it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I Give
9 and dispose of the same as followeth
10 First I Give and bequeath unto John Jones of Bwlchyonwin in the Parish of
11 Llandinam the Sum of One Shilling
12 I Give and bequeath unto Mary the Wife of Edward Jones of Cefnbeidiog in the
13 Parish of Llangurig the Sum of One Shilling
14 I Give and Bequeath unto my loving Wife Jane Edwards and Evan Edwards
15 my Son all and Singular the rest and remainder and my Goods and Chattels of what
16 nature or kind so ever the same be Moveables and Unmoveables and all and
17 Singular my Stock of Cattles Horses Sheep Poultry Implements of Husbandry
18 and also all money due and oweing to me or shall hereafter become due and owing
19 unto me at the time of my Decease, and I do request that you will pay unto
20 Elizabeth Jones Jane and Margaret Edwards my Daugthers such Sums of Money what you
21 think proper that whilst is Just and I do hereby Nominate Constitute and
22 appoint my said loving wife Jane Edwards and Evan Edwards my Son to be Sole
23 and Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby annul
24 revoke and make void all other former Will or Wills by me heretofore made
25 In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Edwards have hereunto set my Hand
26 and Seal the Eight Day of July One Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty five

40 Lord 1835 the with in written will was insinuated
41 proved, approved, and in common form of Law decreed
42 Valid, and administration granted to the Within Named
43 Executrix and Executor Jane Edwards and Evan
44 Edwards they being first sworn as the law directs
45 and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits
46 of the said deceased amount in value to two hundred
