1 This is the Last Will and Testament of me David Evans
2 of Gliniant in the Parish of Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Farmer, First
3 I desire my Executrix hereinafter named to pay all my just debts Funeral Exepenses
4 and the Expenses of proving this my Will, I give devise and bequeath unto my
5 beloved Wife Ann Evans all my reay money securities for money together and with my Real
6 and personal property (that is to say) All that Messuage Tenements and Lands
7 called Glinant Situate in the said Parish of Trefeglwys to her own use to sell leave give
8 or bequeath according to her own will and pleasure while she remains unmarried, And
9 Moreoever my will is that in case she should Marry that all my real and personal
10 property (that is to say all that said Messuage Tenements and Lands called Gliniant
12 together with my personal property) shall be Sold either by Public Auction or Private
13 contract and that my said Wife Ann Evans shall make a good and Marketable Title
14 at her own costs and charges and that my said Wife Ann Evans’s signature above
15 shall be a sufficient discharge to a Purchaser, After the Sale of the Estate and
16 Stock is completed I authorize amy said Wife Ann Evans in the first place to pay
17 off the Mortgage together with other debts and the remaining part of the monies
18 of what nature or kindsoever I give devise and bequeath unto my said Wife
19 Ann Evans the one Third part and I order my said Wife Ann Evans to pay the
20 remaining Two parts unto my Two sons and Daughter namely David Evans
21 Evan Evans and Elizabeth Evans share and share alike And do hereby
22 nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Ann Evans sole Executrix of this
23 my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former and
24 other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do hereby declare this to be my
25 last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I the said David Evans the
26 Testator have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twenty fifth day of July
27 in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine

39 On the 26th Day of November in the year of our Lord 1831 the within written will was
40 insinuated, proved, approved, and in common form of Law decreed valid and administration
41 granted to the within named Executrix Ann Evans, she being first sworn in common form of Law
42 and that the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of teh said deceased do not amount to Two
43 hundred Pounds
