1 This is the last Will and Testament of me
2 Richard Bennett of Cilhaul in the Parish of
3 Trefeglwys in the County of Montgomery Gentleman
4 First I direct that all my just Debts Funeral and
5 Testamentary Expenses be paid by my Executors
6 herein after named I give and bequeath unto my
7 Sons Richard Bennett and Edward Bennett and
8 to my Daughter Mary the wife of Edward Jones the
9 Sum of One Pound a piece and as to all my
10 real and Personal Estate of what nature or kind
11 soever or wheresoever the same may be situate
12 or be after payment of my just Debts be the same
13 due by Mortgage upon my real Estates or Bond Note or
13 otherwise I give devise and bequeath the same
14 and every part thereof unto my dear wife Mary
15 Bennett my Son Thomas Bennett and my Daughter
16 Margaret Bennett and to Heiw [their] their Executors and
17 administrators and assigns for ever to ..e as Tenants
18 in Common and not as joint Tenants and I do
19 hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son

20 Dear Wife Mary Bennett my Son Thomas Bennett and
21 my Daughter Margaret Bennett joint Executrix and Executors of
22 this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby
23 revoke and make void all Wills Codicils and other
24 Testamentary dispositions made by me at any time
25 or times heretofore and publish and declare this
26 to be my last Will and Testament In Witness
27 whereof I have hereunto subscribed and set my hand
28 and seal this Eighth Day of December in the year
29 of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and
30 thirty five

43 On the fifth day of October in the year of our Lord 1833, the within
44 written Will was insinuated, proved, approved, and in common form
45 of law decreed valid, and administration granted to Mary Bennett
46 and Thomas Bennett two of the executors within named, they
47 being first sworn in common form of law, … that the whole of
48 the goods, chattels, and credits of the said deceased do not amount
49 in value to £600 – power being reserved for Margaret Bennett
60 the other executrix therein named, to take upon her the execu-
61 tion thereof whenever she shall lawfully demand the same
